- 今日はホームステイ先を出る日です。私がフィリピンに来てから1ヶ月もたつなんて本当に信じられません。ホームステイ先の家は本当に楽しかったです。ホストシスターとは毎晩いろんな話をして、勉強になったし、何より自分から話すことができるようになりました。シスターは私の間違いだらけのでたらめな英文をちゃんと言い直してくれて、言葉につまったときも辛抱強く次の言葉を待ってくれました。言葉が通じる喜びと言葉以外のコミュニケーションの大切さに気が付きました。今日の朝、お母さんに手紙をもらったときは泣きそうになりました。本当にいい家族と過ごせてよかったです。

- 当初私は、英語学校に入り週末だけボランティア活動をと考えていたのですが、web上でLOOBの活動を知り、お世話になることにしました。まず英語研修ですが、個人レッスンということに大変魅力を感じました。単に語学学習をするのではなく、英語で興味のあることを学べるということです。午前中にフィリピンの古い伝統や文化（日本のアイヌのそれにも通じる所があります。）、午後には海洋について学んでいます。特に興味を持った所や不得手な所には、時間を多くかけることもできました。

- 英語研修は、9月〜12月の3ヶ月フィリピン大学（UP）に通いました。 UPの4年生、院生がチューターで、一人2時間、1日4時間のレッスンでした。
UPチューターは、私が何をしたいか聞いてくれました。ただ、その頃の私としては「英会話が出来るようになりたい、フィリピン人とコミュニケーションが取れるようになりたい」としか答えられませんでした。彼らは、インターネットで、私が興味を引きそうな題材を探してくれたり、いろいろな本やテキストを用意してくれたりしました。

a very wonderful time in this camp. There are lots of experience here that

Thank you for the wonderful moments in Namucon English work camp.
Even if it’s just a brief stay, I learned a lot in the community in
communicating English. This is my 1st English work camp but I truly enjoy doing new style English activity….
It’s a bit experimental but very effective. I hope my fellow campers and
the children learned from me too.

Thank you for the wonderful time in Namucon English camp. This chance would
surely be helpful for me in interacting and teaching field. I’m glad that
I could be with children and join the first English camp of LOOB Inc. I
hope both Japanese and Filipino campers will have lots of great experience
in this and on the future camps. ARIGATO.

Thank You. it’s been my long time wish to join LOOB camp. Finally, it
has been true because of a suitable schedule and the earnest desire of
Yuko and Yukie san for me to join in this workshop! It’s worth the fun
and a worthwhile experience to be with Filipino children together with
Japanese friends and fellow Filipino campers. Thanks again in a million!!!!

I feel so lucky to have a friend and participate in the activity of
LOOB. Everybody is very kind. It’s an experience worth remembering. LOOB will
